How to shop Taobao with 65daigou! @ Thursday, December 15, 2011, 10:24 AM

65Daigou is a Singapore agent that makes your shopping easy. The main online shopping site they provide service to is Taobao, the biggest online shopping site in China. You can get everything from there - cosplays, wigs, cosplay weapons, clothes, branded goods, household products - you name it, they're likely to have it.

As we're in Singapore, making an account in Taobao and ordering from them directly may cause a lot of problems e.g. missing of goods, goods not delivered etc. By having an agent to help, they're responsible for your goods until it reaches your hands.

I had once came upon this irresponsible seller whom did not ship out my cosplay even though I ordered it 2 months ago. He even went MIA for a short while when I complained about not receiving it. Thus, 65daigou gave me a full refund!

I've decided to make this tutorial for those who has trouble or do not know how to order your things, especially cosplays, if you're keen to purchase them (or simply because you can't make them like me. Heehehehehehe.). The most IMPORTANT objective is to prevent your 'friends' from overcharging you. Yes, I've heard from my friends that some people do that.

PART 1: Shopping

Alright so first, you'll have to make an account in http://www.65daigou.com!

Next, you can proceed to shop at http://www.taobao.com/.

Do note that your search has to be in CHINESE. You can try your luck with English but you'll be able to find much MUCH more with Chinese ^^.

Tips:

If you're looking for wigs, you can enter the 假发, the colour, the length into your search keywords. Same goes to clothes. Add in the materials, the name/style of the apparel e.g Maxi dress/bat wing sleeve!

After selecting your desired items, look out for the price and domestic fee. This is the amount you're supposed to pay for the first payment, where your goods are delivered from the dealer to 65Daigou's branch in China.The current exchange rate is SGD $1 = RMB $4.80.

As there are several shops selling the same thing, these are things that you should look out for!

Now go back to 65daigou. Click on the orange EZ-Buy after signing in. Paste the link of your desired product to the Product URL. Click the blue EZ-Buy!

They'll enter all these information for you automatically. Check the things that I boxed!
To proceed, click the Submit button. I cropped it away accidentally (*´∇｀*).

Now you're done with the first item~ *clap~*. You can either add more items or proceed to make payment!

PART 2: Payment

So now we've come to the payment. After clicking 'check out', you'll come to this page. Tick the products you wanna buy/pay first and they'll calculate the total cost for you! ♥

Here's the basic rates for shipping:
Sea shipment: S$6 for first 500g, $2 for every subsequent 500g.
Air shipment: S$8 for first 500g, $4 for every subsequent 500g.
Special Shipment*: $12 for first 500g, $6 for every subsequent 500g

It can be found under 'Quick guide'. I've always used air shipping!

For the mode of payment, a bank transfer will be the easiest option. Select the bank according to your preference. Click 'next'.

You'll come to this page. Next, make your payment first and come back to this page, enter the exact amount transferred, date and time. Click 'confirm'.

Now you're done! You can check the order status regularly. 65Daigou will change it accordingly to e.g. after receiving payment, shipping, arrival etc. Do an eye on your email accounts as they'll notify you to make payment or clarify any issues.

PART 3: 2nd Payment & collection

Unfortunately, I do not have any pending orders so I can't screen cap anything. But no worries, I can still continue writing! Ahahahaha (*￣∇￣*)ｴﾍﾍ.

Alrighty, the 2nd payment is of course your shipping fees and a 8% agent fee (from the total cost). Like before, they'll notify you and sum up the total cost for you. You'll have to select the payment mode and pay again.

As for collection, you can choose to collect them yourself in MRT stations or have them delivered to your door step.
